Beacon ships an HTTP API that mirrors how a controller actually thinks. Every journal is idempotent, version-pinned, and observable. Our SDKs cover Python, Ruby, TypeScript, and Go.

01 Idempotency keys
Replay-safe by design. Retry the same write a thousand times — only one journal posts.
02 Period locking
Hard-locked periods reject writes with a typed error. Soft locks let your CFO unwind a single batch.
03 Webhook receipts
Every posting fires a signed webhook with the resulting trial balance delta. No polling required.
04 Auditor scopes
Read-only API tokens scoped to a single period and entity. Provision in the UI, revoke when the audit ships.
